01:00I would do between 8 and 10K and I would I would do between 8 and 10K and I would also get in the gym so my life reactive also get in the gym so my life reactive also get in the gym so my life reactive and um you know as was like any normal and um you know as was like any normal and um you know as was like any normal person really pleased to go to to to person really pleased to go to to to person really pleased to go to to to gigs and uh music festivals and and uh gigs and uh music festivals and and uh gigs and uh music festivals and and uh you know go out to for dinner and you know go out to for dinner and you know go out to for dinner and socialize so I was you know generally socialize so I was you know generally socialize so I was you know generally the similar to everyone else but I was the similar to everyone else but I was the similar to everyone else but I was very physical and uh Fitness was a big very physical and uh Fitness was a big very physical and uh Fitness was a big part of my life okay and then what was part of my life okay and then what was part of my life okay and then what was your acute infection of covid like well your acute infection of covid like well your acute infection of covid like well well I I felt ill on on Friday I can well I I felt ill on on Friday I can well I I felt ill on on Friday I can remember it was uh the last day in remember it was uh the last day in remember it was uh the last day in October in 21 and I felt really rough uh October in 21 and I felt really rough uh October in 21 and I felt really rough uh the next day I I I I did a test and and the next day I I I I did a test and and the next day I I I I did a test and and and it was very apparent that I had and it was very apparent that I had and it was very apparent that I had covid and I went down very very quickly covid and I went down very very quickly covid and I went down very very quickly and um had the Delta variant and within and um had the Delta variant and within and um had the Delta variant and within 10 days I was basically in bed and lost 10 days I was basically in bed and lost 10 days I was basically in bed and lost 6 kg and um had 6 kg and um had 6 kg and um had um my my blood pressure was was uh on
02:00um my my blood pressure was was uh on um my my blood pressure was was uh on the floor and my my temperature was was the floor and my my temperature was was the floor and my my temperature was was on fire so much so that my breathing was on fire so much so that my breathing was on fire so much so that my breathing was was was bad that I was rushed to was was bad that I was rushed to was was bad that I was rushed to hospital and um they they kindly looked hospital and um they they kindly looked hospital and um they they kindly looked after me and got me back on track and after me and got me back on track and after me and got me back on track and got my blood pressure back working they got my blood pressure back working they got my blood pressure back working they reduced my temperature and they they got reduced my temperature and they they got reduced my temperature and they they got me back up and running so I I I came out me back up and running so I I I came out me back up and running so I I I came out of hospital and was looking forward to of hospital and was looking forward to of hospital and was looking forward to to getting to getting to getting better the unfortunate thing is um I was better the unfortunate thing is um I was better the unfortunate thing is um I was still waiting many many many months and still waiting many many many months and still waiting many many many months and a couple of three years later because it a couple of three years later because it a couple of three years later because it didn't happen it actually didn't happen didn't happen it actually didn't happen didn't happen it actually didn't happen so that's that's you know it's it's so that's that's you know it's it's so that's that's you know it's it's something that I I can't tell you something that I I can't tell you something that I I can't tell you how how depressing and debilitating it how how depressing and debilitating it how how depressing and debilitating it was so how did your life change once you was so how did your life change once you was so how did your life change once you had long covid well as I said I was I had long covid well as I said I was I had long covid well as I said I was I was looking for I was looking to get was looking for I was looking to get was looking for I was looking to get better and and you know I was I was I better and and you know I was I was I better and and you know I was I was I was trying to do everything normal but was trying to do everything normal but

04:00the UK the the National Health are very the UK the the National Health are very very good in trying to manage covid and very good in trying to manage covid and very good in trying to manage covid and long covid and like everyone else across long covid and like everyone else across long covid and like everyone else across the globe there was a lot of management the globe there was a lot of management the globe there was a lot of management trying to go on to deal with people and trying to go on to deal with people and trying to go on to deal with people and and their illness initially with people and their illness initially with people and their illness initially with people with covid and then once we found out with covid and then once we found out with covid and then once we found out afterwards that people were weren't afterwards that people were weren't afterwards that people were weren't getting better like myself so the NHS in getting better like myself so the NHS in getting better like myself so the NHS in the UK were extremely good in in trying the UK were extremely good in in trying the UK were extremely good in in trying to help me manage this this this this to help me manage this this this this to help me manage this this this this this this this art is ex existance is this this this art is ex existance is this this this art is ex existance is that's what I can say cuz that's exactly that's what I can say cuz that's exactly that's what I can say cuz that's exactly what it was it was no more than what it was it was no more than what it was it was no more than existence I'd lost interest in existence I'd lost interest in existence I'd lost interest in everything and my battle in life was to everything and my battle in life was to everything and my battle in life was to get through the day and as as painful as get through the day and as as painful as get through the day and as as painful as possible we're trying to get better so I possible we're trying to get better so I possible we're trying to get better so I went on various different courses we we went on various different courses we we went on various different courses we we had Zoom calls with with various had Zoom calls with with various had Zoom calls with with various different group groups of people that different group groups of people that different group groups of people that had the same issues as myself which was had the same issues as myself which was had the same issues as myself which was mainly The Chronic fatigue the mainly The Chronic fatigue the mainly The Chronic fatigue the respiratory and inflammation on the respiratory and inflammation on the respiratory and inflammation on the lungs and the body and the breathing
05:00lungs and the body and the breathing lungs and the body and the breathing issues right and the brain fog was was issues right and the brain fog was was issues right and the brain fog was was definitely there um you know and and the definitely there um you know and and the definitely there um you know and and the loss of interest and the loss of loss of interest and the loss of loss of interest and the loss of Interest really developed into you know Interest really developed into you know Interest really developed into you know mild to medium depression you know and mild to medium depression you know and mild to medium depression you know and we had these these groups and they gave we had these these groups and they gave we had these these groups and they gave us all these these courses to try and us all these these courses to try and us all these these courses to try and help us manage our symptoms and I think help us manage our symptoms and I think help us manage our symptoms and I think the only thing that I really got out of the only thing that I really got out of the only thing that I really got out of it at the beginning was that you know it it at the beginning was that you know it it at the beginning was that you know it was you were you were you were you were was you were you were you were you were was you were you were you were you were you were in the same room as other you were in the same room as other you were in the same room as other people that had the same systems and the people that had the same systems and the people that had the same systems and the same same problem so you could relate to same same problem so you could relate to same same problem so you could relate to that you're in the same group and I that you're in the same group and I that you're in the same group and I think that was the only the only support think that was the only the only support think that was the only the only support and comfort it gave you was in the and comfort it gave you was in the and comfort it gave you was in the factors you weren't alone in general it factors you weren't alone in general it factors you weren't alone in general it it never helps I mean we even went on a it never helps I mean we even went on a it never helps I mean we even went on a um a course called breath so it was all um a course called breath so it was all um a course called breath so it was all about breathing okay and it was held by about breathing okay and it was held by about breathing okay and it was held by the English national Opera okay so we
06:00the English national Opera okay so we the English national Opera okay so we have English national Opera who have all have English national Opera who have all have English national Opera who have all the operatic stars in the UK they the operatic stars in the UK they the operatic stars in the UK they developed a um system very quickly at developed a um system very quickly at developed a um system very quickly at which they would they would run in which they would they would run in which they would they would run in parallel with the NHS by the NHS that's parallel with the NHS by the NHS that's parallel with the NHS by the NHS that's our our Health Service to tell or like our our Health Service to tell or like our our Health Service to tell or like us so there would be 40 people on a on a us so there would be 40 people on a on a us so there would be 40 people on a on a zoom call you know doing all the zoom call you know doing all the zoom call you know doing all the breathing actions in and out for for an breathing actions in and out for for an breathing actions in and out for for an hour over an 8we period brought by the hour over an 8we period brought by the hour over an 8we period brought by the Eno the English national Opera again we Eno the English national Opera again we Eno the English national Opera again we got comfort from suppose being in the got comfort from suppose being in the got comfort from suppose being in the same community in that same space but same community in that same space but same community in that same space but you know it's I felt that there was no you know it's I felt that there was no you know it's I felt that there was no real real reward unfortunately because I real real reward unfortunately because I real real reward unfortunately because I think my symptoms was too was were too think my symptoms was too was were too think my symptoms was too was were too embedded and anything it just it just it embedded and anything it just it just it embedded and anything it just it just it didn't change and I think a lot of didn't change and I think a lot of didn't change and I think a lot of people found that but the management people found that but the management people found that but the management from the NHS and and the various groups from the NHS and and the various groups from the NHS and and the various groups around there they were they were Keen to around there they were they were Keen to around there they were they were Keen to try and help us but unfortunately you try and help us but unfortunately you try and help us but unfortunately you know didn't it hasn't worked or didn't know didn't it hasn't worked or didn't know didn't it hasn't worked or didn't work so that that's where I found myself
