14 Day Cold Shower Challenge Benefits Tips

00:00welcome here to this video my name is Lucas and as you can see I'm not at home I'm here in New York and in the Central Park it's an amazing place and especially the Central Park it's my favorite place here because it's so quiet in here you can read you can record videos and your your for yourself and outside it's so busy and you can see all these big buildings here and it's beautiful so when you have the opportunity to come to New York you should definitely do it and I'm here for three more days and then it's time to go back home to London and yeah but now today we want to I want to film this video because I did a small experiment and I want to share my experiences with it and what I learned doing it so I took a cold shower for 14 days straight it was something I wanted to try because I heard so many good things about it and I can tell you there are so many benefits behind it and I feel so much better since I shower coat every day that I also will continue it and I can just recommend it for you and all these things why I'm doing it and why I
01:00continue it I want to talk here with you today and also how I shower because I think that some yeah it's important to mention so let's start with the video first of all I think it's only a small benefit but it's worth mentioning and you are quicker I mean when it's super cold you want to get out of the shower so you lose less time so I normally with Asko or when I take a cold shower I only take one or two minutes it's a bit faster and a small benefit then I have more energy and I am normally someone I like to drink coffee I really like coffee not just to be more awake in the morning but when I shower cold I feel similar to the moment after I drank my coffee I have a lot of energy and that's I think pretty nice to to get this cake not from caffeine but from something natural from cold water and I'm I have much more energy and it's especially something good if you want to get rid of caffeine and try something else it's definitely worth trying and a big recommendation and I also smile
02:00every day I can't I come out of the shower I don't know why I think because of all the hormones that get released but it's really nice to wake up in the morning smile after you after I took this shower because normally I wake up really early and I only sleep seven hours and I'm I'm a bit grumpy and I the first one hour I want to be for myself I'm a bit introverted in this time and with a shower I am I'm super energized and I'm ready to get into the day and I think the most or the biggest benefit at the end is that I'm more satisfied because I wake up and I already did something I achieved something I I achieved a goal I set myself and that's super important and the biggest benefit for myself what I experienced immediately after I started this experiment so definitely do it and there are more and more benefit so first of all it strengthens your willpower because it's every day when you wake up it's a challenge because you don't want to get and take this cold

06:00extremely important when you take a cold shower and it's changed everything because the first two sessions I didn't know about this and then I try to deliver better with a better breathing technique and everything was way way better and I really enjoyed to take this cold shower and it gets better from day to day you get more used to it you feel more comfortable the first five sessions are super hard and then gets easier I think it never gets to the point where you say oh I would like or I would love to take cold shower now because it's you it's always a challenge because it's cold and you don't want to stress or you don't want to put your body in this stressful situation and yeah that's a bit my technique how I shall call and all the benefits and I will continue it because it's nice and that's why I love experiments like this because before this I didn't know about all these benefits and I had no clue what this has or what effect for my body is but now I tried it and I realized and I have something what I can implement in
